Steve and the whole Briggs crew ~

Sean and I have been married for almost three months and it has taken me that long to come up with the right words to describe our experience with you and your crew (and words still won’t be enough to explain how we feel about our entire wedding weekend – as well as the planning process!)

Although we had looked at several outdoor farm/barn type venues, we felt at home at Briggs. For the first time in our planning process I could see my future husband relax. We both could see our friends and family having fun, and enjoying the scenery and unique beauty of Briggs.

From the very first time we met Steve, he was incredibly welcoming and easy to work with. We truly felt like he cared about us. He worked with us through the entire planning process beginning with suggesting vendors that have worked well in the past and keeping us up to date on the latest projects at the farm. Steve was always just a phone call or text away with any questions or concerns we had.

We were very impressed with the accommodations at Briggs. Having the entire house to ourselves for the weekend was amazing. The house has a beautiful rustic feel with some wonderful modern touches. The master bedroom is beautiful and the bed is so comfortable!

Three months later, our guests are still raving about the pizza and the scenery from our wedding! Everyone thought it was so cool that they could check out the whole pizza making process and request their favorite. Watching and interacting with the crew from dough throwing to pulling the finished pizza from the wood fire. Not only was it an awesome experience, every single pizza we had was amazing. We had everything from macaroni and cheese pizza to pulled pork using some of the left over pork from our main meal (catered by Southern Smoke & Chrome).

We and our guests also loved the huge (yes, HUGE) bonfire. Our wedding day was very chilly but the bonfire was an awesome way for guests to stay and keep warm. The ambiance of the fire was beautiful as the sun went down, and who can resist the smell of a bonfire?

Every where we go, people are still making comments about our wedding and how unique and beautiful it was at Briggs.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We’ve heard people who have been married for decades say they don’t remember much about their wedding… I can say with certainty that we will remember our wedding forever. Everything was absolutely perfect and we owe so much of that to Steve and his ‘pizza making crew.’
