Whitetail Deer Hunting

Currently, we are taking reservations for Fall 2011 Whitetail Deer Hunts for parties of 1 to 4 persons. Lodging is available onsite by reservation. Safety harnesses are mandatory.

2013 Fall Deer Hunting Season Dates:

Archery: Sept. 15 – Dec. 31
Shotgun: 1st season Nov. 9  – Nov.17
Shotgun: 2nd season Nov. 17 – Nov. 25
Muzzleloader: Nov. 24 through Dec. 9

Briggs Outdoors is located in zone 3, game unit 346

Deer Hunting Rates:

Sept. 15 – Oct 15: $125 archery/$75 half day
Oct. 16 – Nov. 3: $150 archery/$80 half day
Nov. 9 – Nov.17: $2500 for season
Nov. 19 – Nov. 27: $200 shotgun/muzzleloader
Nov. 24- Dec. 9: $150 muzzleloader

5 day package includes lodging, meals, guide $2000

Dec.10-Dec.31 :$100 archery

Note: A state service tax will be assessed to all fees.

All deer hunts are priced per person, per day. There is an additional $500 Trophy Fee for antlered bucks, $100 fawn bucks, and $50 for a doe.  The same fee will be assessed if the animal is wounded but not retrieved.  Make your shot count!

Deer Tags:

Rifles are not legal in this area. Non-resident deer tags are approx. $141.00 and can be purchased over the counter. To save time and confusion, hunters can order these through the mail by calling 1-888-646-6367 or you can process your order online at www.dnr.state.mn.us

Lodging:

Briggs Lodging offers quality, comfortably furnished accomodations including 3 bedrooms (2-night minimum stay on weekends), full bath and half bath; common areas include dining room, living room, kitchen, and full deck. Rates: $100 – $150 per night . Please note a service tax will be assessed to all fees.

Taxidermy is provided onsite by Shane Loshek of Pleasant Valley Taxidermy.
